2. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide when you contact us through our website enquiry form, phone, email or WhatsApp. This may include your name, email address, phone number, and details about your property and the work you need doing.
Our online enquiry form is provided by LeadConnector (GoHighLevel), which processes the details you submit on our behalf and may use Cloudflare Turnstile to prevent spam.
Our hosting provider keeps standard technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security. We also use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the website. It records information such as pages viewed, device and browser type, and approximate location.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your personal information to:
- Respond to your enquiries and provide quotes
- Arrange and confirm appointments
- Provide after-installation support
We do not use your information for marketing without your explicit consent, and we do not sell or pass your information to third parties for marketing purposes.
Where needed to carry out your job, we share relevant details with other trades, subcontractors or suppliers working on it, and with professional advisers or authorities where the law requires.
4. Legal Basis for Processing
We process your information on the basis of legitimate interest (to respond to your enquiry) and, where you book an appointment, because it is needed to fulfil a contract. Where we require your consent for any processing, we will ask for it separately.
5. How Long We Keep Your Data
We keep enquiry and customer records only as long as needed to respond, carry out the work and meet legal and tax obligations. You can ask us to delete your information at any time if there is no ongoing business reason to retain it.
6. Your Rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. You also have the right to object to processing or request that processing be restricted. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at labheating1@gmail.com.
7. Cookies
This website uses Google Analytics cookies (such as _ga) to measure how the site is used. You can opt out with Google's browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. The site also loads fonts from Google Fonts, and the enquiry form (LeadConnector, with Cloudflare Turnstile) and the embedded Google Map may set their own cookies, subject to their providers' privacy policies. We do not use advertising cookies.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page.
9. Complaints
If you have a concern about how we handle your personal data, you can contact the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
