Radiator Installation in the North East

Designer radiators and towel rails fitted from £150

Radiator Installation

Radiator installation from LAB Plumbing & Heating costs around £150 to £300 per radiator. A like-for-like swap in the same position with little or no pipework change usually takes about an hour per radiator. We fit standard panel radiators, designer vertical and horizontal radiators and heated towel rails across Chester-le-Street, Durham, Newcastle and the North East.

The right radiator heats a room properly and can transform the way it looks. We fit new radiators and towel rails for homeowners across Chester-le-Street, Durham, Newcastle, Gateshead and Sunderland, from simple swaps to statement designer pieces.

We fit standard panel radiators, tall vertical radiators that free up wall space, horizontal oval-tube designer radiators and heated towel rails in black, anthracite, white and brushed brass finishes. We also fit and replace thermostatic radiator valves (TRVs), either with a new radiator or as a job on its own, so you can control the temperature in each room.

If the new radiator goes in the same place with little or no change to the pipework, allow about an hour per radiator. Moving a radiator or adding a new one takes a little longer, and you will always know the price before work starts. Most radiators cost £150 to £300 to install.

The system is drained down, the new radiator fitted and bled, and everything is checked for leaks before we leave. We also flush radiators and whole heating systems to clear sludge, either alongside radiator work or as a standalone job.

How long does it take to fit a radiator?

How much does it cost to fit a radiator?

Most radiator installations cost £150 to £300 per radiator, depending on the radiator and whether the pipework needs moving.

Can you fit designer and vertical radiators?

Yes. We fit standard panel radiators, vertical and horizontal designer radiators and heated towel rails in black, anthracite, white and brushed brass finishes.

Can you move a radiator to a different wall?

Yes. Moving a radiator means altering the pipework, so it takes longer than a like-for-like swap. We will price this clearly before starting.

Should I flush my system when replacing radiators?

Often, yes. We flush radiators and whole heating systems to clear sludge, either as a standalone job or alongside radiator work, and we can advise whether a flush would help your heating run better.

Do you fit thermostatic radiator valves (TRVs)?

Yes. We fit new TRVs and replace old ones, either with a new radiator or as a job on its own, so you can control the temperature in each room.
